Webinar on Participatory Environmental Education:

experiences from the United States

Please join us as Earth Force Chief Program Officer, Alyssa McConkey, shares their model of participatory environmental education called Environmental Action Civics that puts youth at the center of environmental decision making and change in their community.

This session will discuss the benefits of Environmental Action Civics and offer concrete strategies to engage youth participation, voice, and choice. This 90 minute virtual session will include a Q&A and interactive tools for audience participation. Note, the webinar will be in English.

Alyssa McConkey, Chief Program Officer: Alyssa comes to Earth Force with a background in nonprofits, program development, education, and community food systems. She develops and supports a growing network of organizations dedicated to integrating Environmental Action Civics. When she's not building and supporting networks, you can find her digging in soil, connecting with her community peeps, or adventuring around the globe.
